A good placement plays a vital role in determining the number of Wifi signals which will get extended in an ap. setup network. Once the setup process gets done you can relocate the range extender to an optimum location from where it can receive the maximum amount of Wifi signals. You can also take the help of the Signal LED to determine a good spot for placing the range extender. If the signal LED turns blue it means the range extender is at a required distance from the router but if the signal LED turns red it means you need to bring the range extender closer to the router.
